AceShowbiz - Hugh Grant is trending on Twitter, but not for a good reason. The "Notting Hill" actor was called out for being "a d**k" toward Ashley Graham, who served as an ABC interviewer, during the 2023 Oscars red carpet interview on Sunday, March 12.

During the awkward interview, Ashley asked Hugh a series of standard questions. The 62-year-old actor, however, showed his disinterest in the questions as he responded, "No one in particular," when asked if he was rooting for anyone.

Hugh also appeared to dismiss Ashley's question about his tuxedo by saying that it was as a result of the work of his tailor whose name he "can't remember." After describing the event as "vanity fair," the actor, who seemed irritated, said of his cameo in "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery", "Well I'm barely in it. I'm in it for 3 seconds." Later when the model asked if he had fun doing the film, he reluctantly replied, "Almost."

Upon catching wind of the interview, Internet users quickly came after Hugh. "Ashley Graham was so sweet and professional with Hugh Grant on the interview… and he's just a d**k," one person tweeted. One other added, "Y'all Hugh Grant is a jerk. He was SO rude to Ashley Graham on the red carpet. Disgusted!"

"Do better Hugh Grant. The person interviewing you is doing it for people who watch your movies and put money in your pocket," another person wrote. One other said, "What a douche. Not that we didn't already know."

The panned interview arrived after Hugh revealed that he flipped out on a "nice local woman" while filming "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves". "I lost my temper with a woman in my eyeline on day one. I assumed she was some executive from the studio who should have known better. Then it turns out that she's an extremely nice local woman who was the chaperone of the young girl. Terrible. A lot of grovelling...," he told the Daily Mail's Eden Confidential column.
