The Fenty Beauty founder shares a funny picture of her 9-month-old son to express his feelings when he finds out that the 'Lift Me Up' singer is not taking him to the upcoming Academy Awards.

AceShowbiz - While Rihanna's son has been stealing people's attention since his public debut late last year, it's suffice to say that she is not ready to share the spotlight with the infant at this year's Oscars. The first-time Oscar nominee has revealed that she is not taking her 9-month-old son to the upcoming Academy Awards.

And Rihanna's son is apparently not taking her mom's decision lightly. According to the pregnant singer, her baby son was upset to find out that his unborn sibling is going to the Oscars with her, not him.

On Sunday, March 5, the Barbadian songstress shared a hilarious photo of her son to express his feelings when he found out that he's not going to the Oscars. The boy looked adorably grumpy while holding onto the rail of his crib.

"my son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him," so Rihanna captioned the photo. She also shared a video and a picture of her son's reaction to her song "Lift Me Up" from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever".

Rihanna has been confirmed to perform at the 2023 Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. She is expected to sing "Lift Me Up" from the "Black Panther" sequel.

The Grammy Award winner received her first Oscar nomination with the song, which is vying for best original song award along with Diane Warren's "Applause" from "Tell It Like a Woman", Lady GaGa's "Hold My Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick", "Naatu Naatu" from "RRR" and David Byrne's "This Is a Life" from "Everything Everywhere All at Once".

Rihanna co-wrote the song with Tems, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Goransson. The song, which marks her first solo musical release since her 2016 studio album "Anti", received critical acclaims and debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
