A number of rappers have been labeled as 'snitches' for cooperating with police and while some of them manage to brush off the title, others still suffer from it.

AceShowbiz - Yak Gotti, one of the rappers who were also indicted in the YSL RICO case, has refuted rumors that he's been working as a government informant to help build a RICO case against fellow rappers Young Thug and Gunna. "2015 my brudda never did a day in jail because I claimed my s**t," he posted on his Instagram Story. "I did 4 years Fed with no tears. Stop the cap.
Yak's statement didn't help though. It was later unveiled that he almost got stabbed by an inmate in October 2022 in Fulton County jail due to the snitching allegation. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Gotti's mom Tasha Kendrick said, "My son doesn't deserve to be attacked in jail... No one's does." Meanwhile, sheriff's office officials confirmed the October 8 fight on Friday, October 14 afternoon.
