AceShowbiz - Tekashi 6ix9ine is under fire after controversial comments he made during a livestreamed gender reveal party went viral online.

In video footage obtained by TMZ, the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, attended the event with his girlfriend, Aliday Alter, who announced her pregnancy earlier this year. During the livestream, 6ix9ine shocked guests by saying he would have urged for an abortion if the revealed baby was a girl.

6ix9ine expressed his desire for a son and stated that if the gender reveal showed a daughter, he would have encouraged terminating the pregnancy. When Alter mentioned she thought the baby might be a girl, the rapper responded, "She's down, she open-minded."

The livestream eventually revealed that the couple is expecting a boy. 6ix9ine, 30, is already a father to two daughters from previous relationships—a 12-year-old with Sara Molina and a 7-year-old with Marlayna M.

In addition to this controversy, it is notable that 6ix9ine pleaded guilty in 2015 to a felony involving the use of a child in a sexual performance. Four years later, he was sentenced to two years in prison after cooperating with federal prosecutors in a gang-related case tied to the Bloods Gang.
