AceShowbiz - Top 8 of "The Voice" season 22 returned to the stage on Monday, December 5 for Semi-Finals. Each of them would perform twice in front of the coaches that night. They would sing a solo before teaming up with a fellow contestant for a duet of Whitney Houston's songs.

Kicking off the night was Team Gwen Stefani's Justin Aaron, who hit the stage to sing Cynthia Erivo's "Stand Up". John Legend loved the performance, saying that he liked watching Justin growing on the show. Blake Shelton echoed the sentiment, while Camila Cabello dubbed Justin a "born performer."

Following it up was a duet from Morgan Myles and Bryce Leatherwood who belted out Whitney's "Saving All My Love for You". The two delivered a sweet version of the classic while sitting and facing each other on the stage.

Later, Brayden Lape from Team Blake showcased his skills by singing Brett Young's "In Case You Didn't Know". Camila gushed over Brayden following his performance, saying, "You have such a gorgeous sounding voice." As for Gwen, she called him "loveable," while Blake urged him to step up this week.

Singing "Unstoppable" by Sia Furler was Parijita Bastola from Team John. Camila was impressed by Parijita for having the guts to own herself at the age of 17. Gwen praised her for being able to connect to her body and voice at a young age. Meanwhile, John loved that Parijita has a strong belief in herself.

Bodie and Brayden then teamed up to sing a slow and ballad version of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody". Bodie further showed that he's more dynamic and skilled, though Brayden made sure to flaunt his pretty tone.

Team John's Kim Cruise was up next. For the Semi-Finals, she opted to go jazzy with "Summertime" by Billie Holiday. She got a standing ovation from the coaches. Blake loved her head voice as he said, "I want to go to a Kim Cruse concert." Gwen thought that the performance was "perfect." John called her devine, regal and beautiful, adding, "A masterclass in how you perform a song that's been performed a million times."

As for Omar Jose Cardona from Team John, he hit the stage to sing "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, which was a rather surprising song choice. "The stage levitated," Blake praised, while Gwen called it "unbelivable." John shouted, "Omar can do it!"

Team Blake's Bodie was the next performer as he sang "Without Me" by Halsey. "You're dang creative," Camila raved. "Dude I think you're going to the finale," Blake added. "I want America to know what's in this guy's heart."

Justin Aaron and Omar returned to the stage to sing a duet of "Greatest Love of All". It was a solid performance as Justin flaunted his bigger, louder voice. Omar, meanwhile, impressed the audience with his more refined tone.

Bryce Leatherwood from Team John then performed "If Heaven Wasn't so Far Away" by Justin Moore. Gwen said it was Bryce's best performance. Blake commented, "You just engaged the army of country fans who watch that show."

Kim Cruise and Parijita Bastola later joined forces for a duet of "I'm Every Woman". Following it up was Team Camila's Morgan Myles who belted out "Always Remember Us This Way" by Lady GaGa. Gwen said she loved how she built the song. Camila added, "You could be the next country pop superstar. The show is called The Voice... you are that."
