The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress releases the visuals nearly a month after her documentary, 'Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me', hit Apple TV+ and select theaters.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has released a music video for the accompanying track of her documentary, "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me". The clip, which was dropped on Thursday, December 1, features some scenes from the film.

The video opens with Selena softly playing a grand piano at her home. It later cuts to footage of the 30-year-old singer in a recording studio, her trip to Kenya, live performances as well as interactions with her close ones.

"My mind and me/ We don't get along sometimes/ And it gets hard to breathe/ But I wouldn't change my life/ And all of the crashin' and burnin' and breakin', I know now," she sings in the chours. "If somebody sees me like this, then they won’t feel alone now/ My mind and me."

The "Only Murders in the Building" actress dropped "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me", which spans six years of her life, on November 4. The Rare Beauty founder previously admitted in an interview with Billboard that she initially hesitated to release the project.

"I was going to release this documentary multiple times and it never really felt right," she told the outlet at the red-carpet premiere of the film. "Then the pandemic hit and a lot of people started having conversations around mental health, the isolation, people feeling depressed or anxious - never feeling those feelings before but have now. I just hope that this will carry on to something like a conversation that people will use to help later on."

Meanwhile, when sitting down with Vogue, Selena shared, "I definitely want to go into hiding after this comes out. I had to separate myself from it and understand what I felt the movie was going to be for other people. So I'm kind of sacrificing myself." She added, "You know, I love my job, but at the end of the day, I do want to be impactful in some way. And if that's by sharing a part of myself that isn't necessarily pretty and put together, there are hopefully people that can look at that and think, Oh, maybe I feel this way, or, I didn't know that you could get this kind of help."
