AceShowbiz - Shakira may have found herself a new man. The "Waka Waka" hitmaker was spotted getting close to her 24-year-old surf instructor five months after she and Gerard Pique went separate ways due to his alleged cheating scandal.
In photos circulating online, the 45-year-old singer could be seen enjoying a beach day with the young man, who's been identified as Gorka Ezkurdia so far. The pictures showed her in a navy surf suit, holding onto her pink surfboard as she talked with the surf coach. The instructor had a soccer ball and held two cell phones. He's wearing a light blue sweater and a black surf suit underneath.
Another photo saw the two holding on to each other as they made their way back to the sand following some surfing. Shakira's children, Milan and Sasha, were also snapped. The two were spotted wearing surf suits and smiling for the camera as Shakira stood by them and the surf coach snapped their photo.
Reports claimed that it wasn't the first time they have been seen together as there has already been speculation about a possible relationship between the two in recent weeks. Spanish gossip TV show "El Gordo y la Flaca", however, claimed the surf coach is Shakira's close friend and he spent some days in her home.
Photos of Shakira and Gorka surfaced amid reports that Shakira and her estranged partner Gerard have made their child custody agreement official in court. The former couple signed off on the deal in Barcelona after a 12-hour meeting with lawyers.
Shakira and Gerard announced their split in May. Following their separation, the Columbian singer and the former soccer player agreed to sell their $12 million five-storey Barcelona property.
The now-exes, who had been together for 11 years, said in a joint statement at the time, "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we request respect for (our) privacy. Thank you for your understanding."
It is safe to say that Shakira and Gerard's breakup was not amicable. The "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker reportedly was "very angry" that he broke an alleged deal to keep new relationships quiet for a year. The athlete himself wasted no time moving on from the singer as it was soon revealed after their split he was dating student Clara Chia Marti, 23, who works for him.
