In a new interview with Drew Barrymore, the 'Stranger Things' star unveils that playing the Princess of Pop is one of her biggest career goals and that the singer's story 'resonates' with her.

AceShowbiz - Millie Bobby Brown has unveiled one of her biggest career goals. In a new interview, the "Stranger Things" actress revealed that she wants to portray Princess of Pop Britney Spears in a biopic.
During a chat in the back of a car in the Monday, November 7 episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show", the 18-year-old actress was asked by host Drew Barrymore, "What would you like to do next?" In response, the young star shared, "I wanna play a real person," adding that she wanted to portray Britney.
"I think her story, first of all, resonates with me," the "Enola Holmes" actress explained further. She also elaborated that she and Britney shared the experience of "growing up in public," noting that she detected similar feelings when she would watch old interviews with the pop superstar.
"I mean, same thing with you [Drew]," Millie said while comparing her and Britney's early experiences to Drew's work as an in-demand child actress on films like "E.T." and "Firestarter". Millie continued, "I see the scramble for words, and I don't know her, but, when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way. And hers only."
Upon learning of Millie's response, Drew seemed blown away. The actress/TV host followed up the discussion by praising Millie, "You're so wise, so magnanimous and so freakin' cool." The two then shared a warm hug.
Millie didn't share any details about what her imagined Britney biopic would focus on, though her age would suggest she might be ideal to play the singer/songwriter when she was at the height of her fame, while she would likely be too young to convincingly portray a more mature Britney amid her conservatorship drama.
That aside, Millie recently teased that may be work together on a potential music project with Mariah Carey when making an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". "I'll just go over and we'll sing together," Millie revealed, adding that the pair even sang in Mariah's state-of-the-art studio. "We have sung together, yeah," she added.
After host Jimmy Fallon asked if fans could expect a joint collaboration, Millie coyly responded, "Potentially, I don't know," before calling Mariah "the most talented singer ever." Jimmy then reacted, "This is the biggest scoop I've ever gotten on 'The Tonight Show'. I would buy that in two seconds."
A few days later, Mariah fueled the possible collab. Speaking to Jimmy in a separate interview, the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hitmaker said, "Maybe it's not just musical. I don't know. I can't say what it is. It's fun things."
