AceShowbiz - A new detail for "WandaVision" spin-off "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" has made its way out online. According to a new report, Aubrey Plaza has been tapped to join the upcoming Disney+ series that will focus on Kathryn Hahn's titular character Agatha Harkness.
No information is available regarding Aubrey's character on the show as exact plot details are being kept under wraps for now. In season finale of "WandaVision", Kathryn's evil witch character lost the battle to absorb Wanda's magic. That prompted Wanda to indefinitely trap Agatha in her nosy neighbor "Agnes" persona.
In addition to starring Kathryn and Aubrey, "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" will see Emma Caulfield Ford reprising the role of Dottie from "WandaVision". It was also said that "Heartstopper" star Joe Locke will be among the cast for "Coven of Chaos".
"Agatha: Coven of Chaos" isn't the only spin-off series of "WandaVision" that Marvel and Disney+ are currently developing. Tentatively titled "Vision Quest", the new series reportedly will tell a story about The Vision (Paul Bettany) trying to regain his memory and humanity. While the focus is on Vision, there is a possibility for Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to appear, per Deadline.
The report also noted that the project is unofficially referred to by some as the White Vision project after the most recent on-screen version of the character was introduced at the end of episode 8 of "WandaVision". It was created by S.W.O.R.D. by rebuilding and reactivating Vision's body and sent on a mission to destroy Wanda and her "Conditional" Vision.
The two Visions had an epic showdown in the final and ninth episode of the series. "Conditional" Vision scanned the memories of White Vision, which brought him to all of regular Vision's moments in the MCU until Thanos destroyed him. White Vision then declared, "I Am Vision," before swooping up to the sky and disappearing.
"Agatha: Coven of Chaos" has yet to have a premiere date, but it's expected to debut in the winter of 2023-24 as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 5 rollout.
