Going on Instagram Live to address the drama, the 'Breakfast Can Wait' singer claims it wasn't her idea to have the comedian pulled from the episode featuring her, but thinks that it's the best decision rather than making it look awkward between them

AceShowbiz - DaniLeigh has shared her side of the story after it was alleged that she had B. Simone removed from "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'n Out" over DaBaby. Going against her team's wishes by going on Instagram Live, she said she needed to address this issue because it's "eating [her] up" and "it's just not cool."

DaniLeigh, who hid most of her face in a hoodie and behind large sunglasses, said in the video that it wasn't her idea to have B. Simone removed from the episode, but her team made the request because she and the comedian were not on great terms. She said she agreed to it, believing that it's the best decision rather than making it awkward by having her sit next to B. Simone on the show.

"It was never a demand. I don't know why the blogs are putting out that I demanded B. Simone not to be on Wild 'n Out. That wasn't the case," she explained. " 'Wild 'n Out' asked me, I love 'Wild 'n Out' shows, I've always supported [Nick Cannon], I always supported the comedians on the show."

"Me and B. Simone are not cool," she acknowledged. "So, I just-my team asked if she doesn't do the episode that I do, respectfully. It was never anything to be like, 'I'm a diva, I don't want'-I thought it'd be more mature to not have us sitting next to each other on a show, making it mad awkward and uncomfortable."

The 27-year-old defended herself, "I'm protecting my peace. I'm protecting my heart on the situation. It wasn't petty." She added, "She was actually there, so I'm sure she got paid. It wasn't to take nobody from nobody's pocket."

Believing that she handles it "maturely" because she was trying to keep information to herself, she slammed B. Simone for going on TV interview and "made a whole diss song" about her. She also claimed to have read "text messages between" DaBaby and B. Simone in the past, but didn't reveal the content.

In the end, DaniLeigh said she decided to focus on herself, tour and daughter. She said she doesn't like drama and is ready to "protect her peace and energy."

Hollywood Unlocked previously reported that DaniLeigh, who shares a son with DaBaby, demanded "Wild 'n Out" producers remove B. Simone from the episode featuring her because she believed that the comedian slept with her baby daddy in the past. The Miami-born star was reportedly adamant about her demands, so producers had B. Simone, who has joined the series for six seasons, sit out as they filmed.

B. Simone later confirmed it on the "Tamron Hall Show". "I don't agree with it, but I understand it. Especially, you know she's not that mature. We're just going to have grace for her moving forward," she said.
