AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa exactly knows how to shut down haters. Having been criticized for taking her girlfriend Avery Cyrus on a date at Chuck E. Cheese, the "Dance Moms" alum took to social media to offer her perfect clapback.
Earlier this week, the 19-year-old shared on TikTok a clip of her and Avery sitting at the restaurant's photobooth in an arcade as they tried out different poses. After smiling for the camera for the first photo, the couple turned to face each other and leaned in for a kiss. In the caption, the YouTube sensation declared she's the "happiest girl."
"You know what I love most about this? This girl woke up today and was like, 'You know what? I'm gonna hate on JoJo Siwa for taking Avery on a date to Chuck E. Cheese... as if I haven't been a giant toddler my whole life."
One individual later poked fun at JoJo by sharing a video that had the words, "How I walk knowing I've never taken someone on a date to Chuck E. Cheese." Catching wind of the post, the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant posted a clip of her own and wrote, "highly recommend Chuck E. Cheese."
In the footage itself, JoJo said, "You know what I love most about this? This girl woke up today and was like, 'You know what? I'm gonna hate on JoJo Siwa for taking Avery on a date to Chuck E. Cheese... as if I haven't been a giant toddler my whole life." She added, "It's my duty!"
JoJo confirmed her romance with Avery two months after her ex Kylie Prew announced their split following a brief reconciliation. Back in August, Kylie told her followers in a live video posted on TikTok, "Someone asked me, just now, if I was single. I am. I been single for almost two months, and it's OK, it's not deep, I promise. Everything's fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross. Because it's not. And I just wanted to clear the air."
On September 14, JoJo and Avery made their red carpet debut as a couple. The pair put on a loved-up front while attending the opening night of Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" musical at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.
