AceShowbiz - BLACKPINK's long-awaited album "Born Pink" is finally out. When releasing the record on Friday, September 16, the South Korean girl group also treated fans to a new music video for one of its tracks, "Shut Down".

The fierce visuals finds Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa taking a night drive in a luxurious car. The foursome later "shuts down" an alley full of signs plastered on the walls as they chant their verses in bold, colorful streetwear outfits.

In the chorus, the group boasts about being a trendsetter. "When we pull up you know it's a shut-down," they sing. "Whip it whip it whip it whip it/ Keep watching me shut it down."

"Shut Down" appears in the band's second studio album, "Born Pink". The 8-track set also consists of "Typa Girl", "Yeah Yeah Yeah", "The Happiest Girl" and previously-released singles "Ready for Love" and "Pink Venom" among others.

BLACKPINK announced in July that they are in the "final stages of recording a new album." Speaking about the project, Jisso told Rolling Stone, "We don't just receive a completed song... We are involved from the beginning, building the blocks, adding this or that feeling, exchanging feedback - and this process of creating makes me feel proud of our music."

"If we just received pre-made songs, it would feel mechanical," she further explained. "I feel more love for the process, because we say, 'How about adding this in the lyrics? How about adding this move in the choreography?' "

BLACKPINK is also planning the "largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group." They will kick off the "Born Pink" world tour with two consecutive nights in Seoul on October 16 and 17. They will play the British capital on December 1, before heading to Europe.

The quartet will then head to Australia, Singapore and Thailand in 2023. Venues for all dates are still to be announced.
