AceShowbiz - Doja Cat continues to show her daring style despite backlash to her recent shocking makeover. The singer/rapper has been spotted in public for the first time since she shaved her head and eyebrows, which drew mixed reactions from social media users.
The 26-year-old star stepped out in Calabasas, California on Wednesday, August 17. In pictures which have surfaced online via Daily Mail, she was joined by her pal as they went in search of some house plants to decorate her crib.
Doja spiced up the casual outing with her raunchy look. In order to promote her new clothing line It's Giving, she flashed her underwear from the line as she exited an SUV. The white high-cut thong, which said "Yes" on the front, was visible under her short cut-off denim skirt, which was folded to the side.
The Grammy Award-winning artist teamed the skirt with a white crop top from her clothing line, which also featured a giant orange "Yes" over her chest. She wore a pair of tall white ribbed socks decorated with blue stars and featuring the brand name, It's Giving, with a pair of chunky pink sneakers.
Doja carried a croissant-shaped pink handbag on her shoulder with a white-and-red trucker hat attached to the strap. She also rocked some accessories, including a pair of huge cross earrings and a necklace, with her sunglasses seemingly hung on her necklace.
The "Say So" raptress highlighted her close-cropped hairdo and in place of her eyebrows she drew on slender lines with tiny hearts doted just above her violet cat-eye makeup.
Doja's male pal helped promote her It's Giving brand with a black tank top and pants from the line, along with black-and-white Nike sneakers and a brown-and-beige cap. He carried around a plant that Doja selected around the nursery on their way to check out.
Doja shocked her fans and followers when she debuted her shaved head and shaved her eyebrows during Instagram Live earlier this month. After receiving negative comments, she clapped back at the naysayers.
"I won a grammy and traveled the f**king globe i've had a #1 and i went platinum," she tweeted on Sunday, August 14. "I make hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look f**kable for you so that you can go home and jerk your c**ks all day long while you live in your mothers basement. Go f**k yourselves."
