In the song, which is co-produced by Mike Crook and DJ Swish, Tyga raps, 'I know you wanna chill with a player, but all you have to do is be real with a player.'

AceShowbiz - Tyga is back with new music. On Friday, August 12, the emcee released "Sunshine" featuring Jhene Aiko and the late Pop Smoke. The song itself pays homage to Lil' Flip's 2004 hit of the same name.

Co-produced by Mike Crook and DJ Swishm, the new track arrived along with its 2000s-inspired music video. It also includes a message from Pop Smoke's mother Audrey Jackson and brother Obasi Jackson.

"Pop Smoke was a legend in the making and I wish we could've collaborated together more", the ex-boyfriend of Kylie Jenner stated. "It's a been a great experience working with his mother and brother to pay homage with this song and contributing to keeping his legacy alive-the smoke will never clear."

"The video and song solidifies that Pop wasn't all about drill and I appreciate hearing his voice on a song like this," Obasi said. "It shows there was love in his heart with a story to tell and his legacy was more than drill music. I'm glad that he gets to be seen in a different light."

In the song, Tyga raps, "I know you wanna chill with a player, but all you have to do is be real with a player/ Just answer your phone whenever I call/ Calm me down, pick me up whenever I fall." He continues, "Hop your a** in my Benz because you like my style/ You know me, I'll do anything to make you smile."

"Sunshine, I could call you my baby boy," Jhene sings in the chorus. "You could call me your baby girl/ Hit me up, we can spend time (Let's spend)/ Lately, you've been on my mind."

"Sunshine" arrived around two weeks after Tyga addressed backlash over his "Ay Caramba" music video. In late July, he issued a formal apology after he was accused of using stereotypes about Mexican and Chicano culture in the visuals.
