When giving the 10-year-old boy some $50 bills, the 'Ball If I Want To' rhymer tells the kid to buy a new pair of shoes at the Flight Club down the street.

AceShowbiz - DaBaby shows how generous he is to his fans. When driving around the city on Thursday, August 4, the "ROCKSTAR" hitmaker gave a 10-year-old boy some $50 bills after he rapped for him.

In a video shared on Instagram, the kid could be seen walking passed DaBaby's car. "I gotta say something real quick, wait, wait. I could rap for y'all?" he said, before realizing it was the hip-hop star behind the wheel. "That's DaBaby? Oh, we gone!"

The little kid then delivered his bars without any hesitation. Impressed, DaBaby gave the boy some $50 bills and told him to buy a new pair of shoes at the Flight Club down the street.

While DaBaby was generous this time, he refused to pay two kids $200 for one box of candy. In footage shared on Instagram Story on June 12, he could be seen teaching the boys some lessons. "You made $400 off that and you selling them for $2? Let's count 'em. What's 34 times two? It ain't $200. It ain't even $100 [laughs]. That's $68," he said.

DaBaby, real name Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, ended up handing $4 instead and jumped into his van with only two bags of candy. "You gotta use your head, man," he told the kids. "I was gon' bless you anyway. You woulda got the $200, now you got $2. Y'all be good, love."

Fans were quick to criticize the "Find My Way" rhymer for his action. They believed that he could have just given his money because $200 wouldn't be a thing for him. The hip-hop star, however, claimed that he shut down the two boys because he wanted to teach him how to avoid greed.

"Anytime I buy something from somebody else in there I buy the whole thing. Especially when it's kids. I give them the opportunity, just make it make sense why you want $200 for this," he explained when speaking to Complex News. "You tell me, 'Man, I usually charge somebody this for the whole box. I'm just gon' charge you $2 all the way down.' I'da looked at him, gave him a thousand dollars."

"I ain't cuss 'em out and this and that," DaniLeigh's baby daddy continued. "I gave them knowledge and bought one piece of candy from each of them and closed the door."
