Filing the lawsuit is Phantom Labs, which claims in the court documents that they worked with the billionaire Yeezy designer to produce four events within 18 months.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West's legal trouble is yet to be over. It was unveiled that the "N***as in Paris" hitmaker was slapped with a lawsuit filed by production company Phantom Labs over $7 million in unpaid services.

According to court papers obtained by TMZ, Phantom worked with Ye to produce four events within 18 months. They included four Sunday Services, Miami's "Donda 2" listening event, the "Free Larry Hoover Concert" with Drake in Los Angel and his canceled 2022 Coachella gig.

Lawyer for Phantom, Howard King, claimed that Ye and his team initially paid them well. However, when the bills inflated to over $6 million in February, the "True Love" rapper stopped making payments.

According to the company, Ye promised to pay his debt by using the reported $9 million he was supposed to get after headlining Coachella. However, since his performance was canceled, the company believed that the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian wasn't going to settle it.

Aside from $6 million, Phantom stated that Ye owed him another $1.1 million in cancellation fees related to his Coachella performance. It means Ye needs to pay the company $7.1 million.

Around one week prior, it was revealed that a fashion rental service is suing Ye over unpaid fees on unreturned items. David Casavant Archive, who filed the paperwork, said Ye owes the famous fashion rental service over $400,000.

The archive said the Yeezy designer owes over $221k in unpaid rental fees and would need to fork over an additional $195,000 in replacement fees for the 13 items. The list of garments includes a Gucci bomber jacket, Helmut Lang hoodie, Gucci python pants and items from Calvin Klein, Carhartt, Raf Simons as well as Dolce & Gabbana.

The fashion service alleged that Ye's payments stopped hitting their bank account in October 2020 but he continued to keep the items. They've been in business with the 45-year-old rapper since 2014 and this is the first issue they've run into with the billionaire artist.
