The 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' director and Daniella Pick, who already have a toddler son named Leon, reveal that they welcomed their baby girl on July 2.

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino and his wife have welcomed a new addition to their family. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" director and Daniella Pick confirmed in a statement that they have welcomed their second child together over the holiday weekend.

"Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are happy to announce that Daniella gave birth to their baby girl on July 2, 2022, a little sister to Leo, their first child," so read the announcement shared to PEOPLE.

News about Daniella's second pregnancy surfaced back in February. Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth was the first to report the good news. Later, Quentin's representative confirmed the report to PEOPLE.

Quentin and Daniella, who is the daughter of Israeli music legend Svika Pick, met in 2009 when the director was in Israel to promote his award-winning movie "Inglourious Basterds". They became engaged in June 2017 and tied the knot in November 2018 in a Reform Jewish ceremony in their Beverly Hills home.

The pair welcomed their first child in late February 2020, just days before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. For the past two years, they have been living in Tel Aviv, Israel, where Daniella gave birth to Leo.

When appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last June, Quentin divulged that he initially didn't plan to stay in Israel for a long time. "The idea was that we would spend like three to four months in Tel Aviv and three to four months in Los Angeles and then COVID hit," he said. "So three to four months became nine to 12 months."

During the interview, the 58-year-old also explained the name of his son. He clarified that the moniker was not inspired by actor Leonardo DiCaprio, whom he directed in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". He told Jimmy Kimmel, "We almost didn't name him [Leo] because people would assume that I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio."
