The 'Vanderpump Rules' star reveals that she has been having fun meeting other people and flirting, even though she is not 'trying to get a boyfriend' at the moment.

AceShowbiz - Katie Maloney is moving on to live her life as a single woman once again. Two months after ending her 12 years of marriage with Tom Schwartz, the "Vanderpump Rules" star got candid in a new interview about her love life.
When appearing in the Tuesday, May 24 episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, the "Harper's Globe" star admitted that she has been on one date since becoming single again. "I like going out, flirting, or like I've been on a date," she told hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young.
However, Katie revealed to the hosts that she is staying away from online dating apps because she wants to meet people organically. The 35-year-old star also pointed out that she was not "trying to get a boyfriend," and was just having fun meeting new people.
Elsewhere in the chat, the reality TV star talked about her feeling after ending her marriage with Tom. She confessed feeling liberated once she went through with the decision. "The minute I made that choice the thing I was scared of the most became like a gift - became an opportunity for opportunity and I was no longer scared of it," she said.
Katie also claimed that she felt "a huge sense of relief" once the news of her separation went public. She explained, "Because everything I had been doing I no longer had to do anymore. I didn't have to be concerned and live for someone else."
Though so, the daughter of Richard Maloney stated that she was heartbroken by the split. "It doesn't mean it was not sad, and not heartbreaking, because it 100 percent is," she clarified, "It was - it gutted me. But I think just leaning in and trusting your gut and listening to that because it's about, always about, the relationship with yourself and nurturing that."
Katie first announced her breakup with Tom on her Instagram account. She posted a lengthy message to explain the separation. "I never thought I would have to make an announcement like this. But I feel it's important that I'm open about my life with you," she declared, "After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage."
"This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship," she further assured in the March 15 post. "Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another's happiness. Thank you for all the kind words and support."
