AceShowbiz - Will Heather Rae Young add a child to her family any time soon? The "Selling Sunset" star revealed that despite having undergone in vitro fertilization [IVF] treatments, she is actually "not at that place" to be pregnant.

In an interview with Page Six, the reality star opened up why she is not ready for a child. "Already having two kids and balancing work and life and family -- just everything. I just felt like my body's not ready," she told the outlet. She emphasized that she wanted to go into the pregnancy process feeling "very excited, not stressed, not feeling overwhelmed."

Heather further added that she is still busy preparing for a lot of her upcoming projects. "I have a lot of things coming up and a lot to prepare for," she explained.

Even though the 34-year-old TV personality was not ready for a baby, she claimed that she does want one someday. "It's going to be this year," she declared, "We're going to implant, and hopefully first time's a charm."

Elaborating more, Heather stated that she and husband Tarek El Moussa had created four embryos. The pair are currently trying them since the "Flip or Flop" star has had cancer and Lynch syndrome, which could increase the risk in developing other forms of cancer. "We're testing our embryos for it just to see if they carry that gene," she shared.

The real estate agent also revealed that she wished to carry her own child if possible instead of using a surrogate. "I'm healthy, I feel good," she said, "I would really like to carry my own baby. … I'm a little nervous about it, but my mom had an easy pregnancy … so I'm hoping it runs in the family."

Heather married Tarek in October 2021. She is a step-mom to an 11-year-old daughter, Taylor, and a 6-year-old son, Brayden. Both are Tarek's children from his previous marriage to Christina Haack (Christina El Moussa).
