Following her divorce from Ol Parker, the actress portraying Maeve Millay on 'Westworld' reportedly 'has a close friendship' with the singer, who is only two years older than her eldest daughter.

AceShowbiz - Thandiwe Newton (Thandie Newton) seemingly feels that she doesn't need mental health support following her divorce from Ol Parker, her husband of 24 years, at least for now. The Maeve Millay depicter on "Westworld" reportedly resisted checking herself into rehab amid rumors that she's dating a young musician, Lonr..

A source spilled to Page Six in an article published on Wednesday, April 20 that the 49-year-old actress resisted rehab despite her friends and agent's growing concern about her well-being. The source also spilled that she "has a close friendship" with Lonr., a 23-year-old musician from Los Angeles.

Upon learning of the speculations, Lonr., whose real name is Elijah Dias, released a statement. "From the relatively short time I've been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children," Lonr. coyly responded. He added, "That's all I care about right now."

Lonr. is only four years older than Thandiwe's oldest daughter, Ripley Parker. His song with singer Amber Mark, "Save My Love", appeared in the trailer and on the soundtrack for Thandiwe's 2021 film "Reminiscence".

Thandiwe was urged to seek mental health support following her divorce from Ol, who was recently seen out and about without his wedding ring, and her abrupt exit from "Magic Mike's Last Dance" earlier this week. "She fired her UK agent of three decades, and then her US agent Gaby Morgerman flew in from Los Angeles to try to calm things down," a source spilled. "Thandiwe's team wants her to go to rehab for mental health support."

"She was supposed to leave immediately for a facility, they tried for a Malibu rehab, but they couldn't take her," the insider added. "Arrangements are now being made to go to a facility in Arizona if she agrees to go."

A source on set claimed that Thandiwe "had been acting strange" lately and she's "been very highly strung" as "there's a lot going on" in her personal life. The informant continued, "Her apparent breakdown caused so much disruption, it became clear she couldn't play the role. She seemed so stressed she even brought her two pet rabbits to her hotel for emotional support."

Following Thandiwe's departure from the "Magic Mike" sequel, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Salma Hayek was brought in to replace her in the undisclosed role. A representative for the studio stated, "Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures' 'Magic Mike's Last Dance' to deal with family matters."
