A man, who was shot at the property that belongs to the 'Suge' hitmaker in Iredell County, North Carolina, suffers from 'non-life-threatening wound to the lower extremity.'

AceShowbiz - A shooting has just taken place at the house of rapper DaBaby in the 100 block of Stillwater Road. Troutman Police Department has confirmed that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening, April 13 at around 7:45 P.M.

Police have not released the names of those involved in the shooting, but local news outlet Iredell Firewire360 reports that the incident took place at the property that belongs to the Grammy Award-winning artist, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, near the football field on the property. Officers were dispatched after receiving a call from 135 Stillwater Road Iredell County.

In a press release, TPD said that when officers arrived on scene, they found one person suffering from "non-life-threatening wound to the lower extremity." The unnamed subject was transported by Iredell County EMS personnel to a medical facility.

It's reported that the man who was shot was trespassing the house. Sources say that the situation was tense as the person who made a 911 call apparently had a weapon with him. Telecommunicators allegedly were instructing the caller to secure his weapon before responders arrived, but he refused, fearing that there could be more intruders.

Meanwhile, neighbors describe DaBaby's property as "a compound surrounded by fences and walls." It is unknown if the "Rockstar" spitter was home when the incident happened.

TPD says that there is an investigation ongoing on the shooting, but has concluded that it "is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at large."

DaBaby, who was born in Cleveland, has been involved in a shooting incident before. A 19-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and died soon after during the incident in Huntersville, North California in 2019.

The now-30-year-old rapper confirmed his involvement in the shooting and said he acted in self-defense. The most serious charges were dropped in March 2019, and he pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.
