Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke reportedly storm out during the taping of season 7 of the FOX popular competition show after the Republican politician is unmasked as an exiting contestant.

AceShowbiz - "The Masked Singer" has been mostly all fun until a controversial figure allegedly competes on the show. The show risks drawing polarized opinions after Rudy Giuliani has been reportedly revealed as one of the costumed contestants.

According to Deadline, the Republican politician was unmasked as an exiting contestant in the taping of the first season 7 episode of the FOX popular reality show last week. That allegedly upset judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke so much that they left the stage in protest.

While Ken and Robin exited, they eventually returned. Meanwhile, fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger reportedly stayed onstage and grilled Donald Trump's former attorney, who supports his client's baseless claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.

The news outlet stops short from naming the costume that Rudy wore on the show or what his swan song was. His exit episode will not air until next month, but FOX has not commented on the report of the former Mayor of New York City's involvement on the show.

The new seventh season of "The Masked Singer" is scheduled to premiere on March 9. Unlike the previous seasons which divided the contestants into groups A and B, the contestants in the upcoming season will be split into three groups named "The Good", "The Bad" and "The Cuddly".

Six unnamed contestants in their costumes were revealed in January in a promo. They are a kind of frog prince and alien as "The Good", a gladiator and an ogre as "The Bad", and an astronaut-mouse and lemur as "The Cuddly". Nick Cannon will return as the host.

Prior to Rudy, the singing competition series left the judges and viewers in shock after another controversial Republican politician, Sarah Palin, was unveiled as The Bear in a season 3 episode that aired back in March 2020.
