AceShowbiz - Gunna has opened up more about his relationship with Chloe Bailey. Despite not becoming an item, the "Drip Too Hard" emcee admitted in a new interview that he wouldn't like it to see the "Have Mercy" singer dating someone else.

When appearing on "The Breakfast Club", Gunna first shared that he's "becoming ready" to settle down. "I'm growing into being ready," he told hosts Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee. "Because I understand having a girlfriend and having a wife, you gotta have stability when it's time. So I think I'm getting there."

Angela then asked Gunna what he would feel if Chloe had a boyfriend while he's preparing himself to be ready for a marriage. "That wouldn't be very P of her to take my time and waste it," he said, prompting the hosts to burst into laughter. "I for sure would keep it P if she moved on, but I wouldn't like that, no."

During the interview, the "DS4Ever" artist denied rumors suggesting that he and the Chloe x Halle member are cousins. "We ain't cousins," the 28-year-old hip-hop star declared. "We're really close friends."

Angela then pressed Gunna on whether he was shooting his shot with Chloe back in September 2021. At that time, he was reposting her picture in which she seductively licked her microphone at the 2021 MTV Awards.

"Stop, stop, stop, stop," Gunna said in the chat as he blushed. "It was the tongue for me, it was, it really was. But I didn't know her [when I posted that]. And I wasn't-- okay, I kind of was shooting my shot a little bit. It was a shot."

Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, went on to address their basketball game dates. "It was a game, it's a common game. I wanted to take her somewhere cool, not just out to the studio. We stopped at the game right fast," he elaborated.

The interview arrived more than a week after Gunna and Chloe were spotted leaving Crypto.com Arena together. Following the Los Angeles Lakers victory over the Sacramento Kings, the pair walked hand-in-hand through fans who asked for selfies and photographs.
