The 'Transformers' actress and her partner are officially engaged in a location special to the couple after a year and a half of walking 'through hell together' and laughing more than she could 'ever imagined before.'

AceShowbiz - Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are getting closer to walking down the aisle together as they have gotten engaged. To celebrate their new relationship milestone, the "Transformers" beauty and her now-fiance "drank each other's blood."

On Wednesday, January 12, the 35-year-old actress made use of her Instagram page to share the exciting news. Alongside a sweet video of the romantic proposal, she wrote, "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree."

"We asked for magic... We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time," Fox continued. The "Jennifer's Body" star added, "Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

Fox went on to say, "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him." She gushed, "And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes," before concluding her post, "and then we drank each other's blood."

The video that Fox uploaded saw Kelly getting down on one knee in a location special to the couple as Fox stood in shock with her hands over her mouth. Fox, eventually, dropped to her knees and allowed Kelly to place the engagement ring on her finger. The lovebirds then wrapped their arms around one another and shared a kiss.

Taking to his own Instagram page, Kelly, born Colson Baker, gave a close-up look at Fox's personalized engagement ring, featuring both diamond and emerald stone. He captioned the clip, "Yes, in this life and every life." The "Bad Things" rapper also revealed that the combination of their birthstones symbolized "two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

"Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me," Kelly wrote. "I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

Kim Kardashian was one of the first people to congratulate the pair, writing, "So happy for u guys!!!!" In the meantime, her sister Kourtney Kardashian left a slew of red heart emojis. Kourtney's fiance Travis Barker chimed in, "F**K YESSSSS," adding a black heart emoji.

Avril Lavigne gushed, "You two are truly the perfect 'pear' [pear emoji] [ring emoji] [green love emoji] congratulations on your engagement! Xx." Also congratulating the pair was Dove Cameron, who said that she's "elated" with the engagement news. Meanwhile, Whitney Cummings quipped, "Cut to me and [Pete Davidson] fighting in a cage over who officiates this wedding."

Fox and Kelly first met in 2020 on the set of "Midnight in the Switchgrass". When they met, Fox, who filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green in November that same year, said that she felt it was meant to be. "I could feel that some wild s**t was going to happen to me, but I wasn't yet sure what," she said during a July 2020 episode of Lala Kent's podcast "Give Them Lala…with Randall". "I just felt it like, deep in my solar plexus, that something was going to come from that, so then, we met on set."
