AceShowbiz - Hoda Kotb has become the latest NBC show host who tested positive for COVID-19. The TV host, who missed her "Today" appearance on Thursday, January 6, shared via social media post that she's "feeling good" in isolation.

The 57-year-old TV personality took to her Twitter account on Wednesday to share her condition after catching the virus, writing, "Thx for well wishes! Feeling good.. [heart emoji]." The broadcaster, who is both fully vaccinated and boosted, added, "Cant wait to see you all when I am in the clear! Xo."

In the Thursday episode of the NBC show, her co-host Craig Melvin announced at the start of the show that Hoda has gotten sick with the coronavirus. He said, "The reason Hoda is off, like many others, she tested positive for COVID, but Hoda tells us that she's doing just fine and we look forward to having her back very, very soon."

In addition to Hoda, fellow NBC show hosts that contracted the deadly virus were Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon. Seth revealed his diagnosis on January 4. When unveiling his health scare, Seth announced that he had to cancel his show, "Late Night with Seth Meyers", for the rest of the week.

"The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!)," Seth began his announcement. The 48-year-old TV personality went on to share the "good news," saying, "The good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!)." He added, "We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!"

A day earlier, Jimmy divulged that he caught COVID-19 when his show, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", was on break for the holidays. "Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid. I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms," he wrote beside a photo that showed him sitting alone inside a testing room wearing a mask.

Amid the spike in coronavirus cases and a new surge of the Omicron variant, NBC show "Saturday Night Live" also almost canceled its Christmas episode after multiple cast members had the novel coronavirus. The sketch show was then taped without studio audiences with Tom Hanks and Tina Fey being brought in at the last minute to help host Paul Rudd carry on with the show.
