The 'Today' show co-host Hoda Kotb enjoys her first Thanksgiving in her new suburban home, sharing moments with her family and reflecting on her upcoming departure from the show.

AceShowbiz - On Friday, November 29, Hoda Kotb shared photos on Instagram of her Thanksgiving celebration with daughters Hope and Haley, who were diagnosed with a medical condition earlier this year. The family gathered in their new home in Westchester County, New York, alongside Kotb's mother, siblings, and nieces.

Meanwhile, Kotb received a special surprise from actress Cynthia Erivo, who brought her flowers to celebrate Kotb's final Thanksgiving Day parade broadcast. Erivo expressed her gratitude for Kotb's hard work and dedication over the years.

Kotb, who announced her retirement from Today on September 26th, also spent time with her family over Thanksgiving. She posted photos of the family in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and at the dinner table, expressing her joy and emotion.

Kotb's departure from the show will take effect on January 10, 2025 with Craig Melvin taking over her role as Savannah Guthrie's co-anchor. NBC News executives have praised Kotb's contributions to the show, describing her appointment in 2018 as one of the network's most successful decisions.

As Kotb reflects on her time at Today, she emphasizes the importance of spending more time with her family. "I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of the time pie that I have. I feel like we only have a finite amount of time."
