AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian apparently wants to keep her family's Christmas Eve party out of trouble. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum reportedly "disinvited" Tristan Thompson from the bash following his paternity drama.
A source close to the Kardashian-Jenner family told The Sun on Monday, December 20 that the holidays have been making "everything tougher." The insider went on explaining, "At first she disinvited Tristan from her family's Christmas but that was short lived since she wants to set a good example for True."
"So he is invited but I don't think she really wants him there so I'm not sure if he'll for sure go," the so-called inside source continued. The informant added, "[Kris Jenner] isn't happy with him either, they're all furious so it might be an awkward holiday for them but at the end of the day he's family and they stick by their people."
The source also stated that the Good American founder has been "having an especially hard time" with Tristan's latest cheating scandal since her public appearance at the People's Choice Awards on December 7. The award show took place just days after news broke that Maralee Nichols filed court papers claiming that she got pregnant from an affair with the NBA star.
"All of the Tristan stuff happened right before that night and I think she was in shock for a few days and it really hit her going out for the first time, which was that awards show," the source revealed. "She was so embarrassed because every single person was asking her about it. Not just fans either but other celebs and people in the industry she knew."
As for the Christmas Eve party, Kris is known for her over-the-top annual parties for her family and friends that reportedly cost over $500,000 each year to produce. While Tristan nearly was not invited to the bash, Kim Kardashian's new beau Pete Davidson is on the guest list.
Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick will most likely also be in attendance alongside the reality star's fiance, Travis Barker. However, the "Flip It Like Disick" alum has been feeling distant from the Kardashian-Jenner family ever since his former longtime girlfriend brought the Blink-182 drummer into the picture.
A source claimed that Scott "feels very distant and feels like an outcast more than ever." The informant added that he "avoids family get-togethers that Travis is at, and he has refused to be in the same room with him at times." The insider concluded, "It's fair to say the holidays this year are going to be rough and will be a battle over the kids."
