Before making her final decision in the finale of her 'The Bachelorette' season, Michelle is seen enjoying her final dates in Mexico with finalists Brandon Jones and Nayte Olukoya.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Young made her final decision in the finale of "The Bachelorette" season 18. Airing on Tuesday, December 21, the episode saw Michelle enjoying her final dates in Mexico with finalists Brandon Jones and Nayte Olukoya.

During the first date, Brandon continued to charm and impress Michelle's family as they reunited after meeting earlier in the season. Brandon and Michelle were seemingly ready to live together as they already discussed logistics with Brandon expressing his willingness to relocate to Minnesota and his ability to work remotely.

Later, it was Nayte's time to meet Michelle's parents and sister Angela. Her family appeared to be less than impressed by Nayte. They loved Brandon's warmth and his preparedness for a live with Michelle, something that they seemingly couldn't find in Nayte. That led Michelle's family to confront Nayte about his willingness to commit and his unemotional response concerned Michelle's mom.

Each of the men was then given one more date to seal the deal with Michelle. She and Brandon spent some time jet skiing before getting emotional during the night part of their date. He gave her his favorite sweatshirt as a gift and they later exchanged "I love yous."

Nayte and Michelle's final date, meanwhile, was spent by them talking about their feelings. Michelle opened up about her family's concerns and the fact that she was initially unimpressed with his ability to be vulnerable. After pushing him, Nayte eventually broke down his walls for her. "All I do is think about life with you," Nayte told Michelle.

Michelle was contemplating what to do after she returned for the date. Brandon was the first one to show up with a ring. However, Michelle decided to turn down his proposal. Despite getting his heart broken, Brandon wished Michelle the best before he left in tears.

Later, when Nayte got down on one knee, Michelle didn't hesitate to accept his proposal. She said yes to Nayte with such an enthusiasm. "At the end I wanted to be standing in front of my soul mate, and he is standing right in front of me," Michelle shared. With her decision, Michelle and Nayte become the first Black couple in the franchise's history.
