The 'Shazam!' actress and her husband of nine years are quick to issue a joint statement shortly after he is revealed to have filed for divorce from her.

AceShowbiz - Another celebrity couple bites the dust. Actress Meagan Good and her husband, producer DeVon Franklin, are divorcing after more than nine years of marriage.
The couple issued a joint statement to confirm their separation while insisting they parted on good terms and no one was to blame for the breakdown of their marriage.
"After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected," they stated. "We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There's no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love."
"We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we've spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other," the soon-to-be-exes continued.
Meagan Good, 40, and DeVon Franklin, 43, tied the knot in 2012 after just two months of engagement. She previously revealed she waited until marriage to have sex with him. They didn't have any children together.
It's unclear when exactly they split, but DeVon was reportedly the one who filed for divorce.
Earlier this year in an interview to promote his book, he opened up on a friction with his wife. He expected her to cook for him and, when she didn't, he was mad.
"Every day I come home from work, I'm going to microwave, I ain't smell nothing," Franklin recalled. "I had an unspoken expectation and then I treated her as if it was spoken."
He said he turned to Will Smith for relationship advice. "Will has been a mentor and a friend, and has been very helpful to me in terms of helping me do the work that I need to do as a man -- to be a better man, to be a better husband and getting that work and getting that therapy," he claimed.
