AceShowbiz - Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are keeping fit for their upcoming big day. The pair, who announced their engagement last month after dating for over a year now, have been spotted on a hike in Los Angeles.
On Thursday, December 5, the couple was walking hand-in-hand as they returned to their car after going on a hike at Runyon Canyon. Looking in great shape, the actress told a videographer in a video obtained by TMZ, "We just trying to stay, stay ready so you gotta get ready."
The "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" star refused to go into detail about how Jonathan popped the question to her, but said that it went down in Paris. "We went to Paris with my dad and he asked for my hand in marriage there and it was really sweet, really cute. And he asked my mom for my hand in marriage as well," she shared.
The pair, however, kept their mouth shut on when the wedding will take place. As for Jonathan, he was asked if he wants to return to the MCU if given the chance. "Of course," he quickly responded.
Meagan and Jonathan announced their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on November 17. When posing on the red carpet, the "Divorce in the Black" star proudly flaunted her engagement ring.
"We did two proposals," she told E! News at the event. "We're going to keep it to ourselves, but it was very-I was very shocked, and it was wonderful. And I was like, 'Wait, are you serious?' " Jonathan then chimed in, "Don't do anything by half."
The couple also shared the significance of unveiling the news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom," she said of their first encounter two years ago.
Rumor has it that Meagan paid for her own engagement ring because "she's in a better financial position that Jonathan right now." The ring, which features a 2 carat yellow emerald cut diamond, is reportedly worth $100,000. "It is a good quality diamond, that's rated by GIA. And it has a diamond band and setting," a friend dished to Media Take Out.
