Jim Jones Says Rappers Have 'Most Dangerous Job in the World' After Drakeo the Ruler's Tragic Death

The original member of Dipset urges fellow rappers to stay safe and protect themselves as he and many other stars pay tribute to Drakeo following fatal stabbing.

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop community is mourning the tragic death of rapper Drakeo the Ruler. Jim Jones was among those sending prayers and condolences for the recently deceased hip-hop artist. "Rappers have th most dangerous job in th world I stand on my statement," Jones claimed on Instagram.

28-year-old Drakeo passed away following a violent altercation with a group of people backstage at the star-studded Los Angeles music festival, Once Upon a Time, recently. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition after he was reportedly stabbed in the throat by one of his attackers.

"Rip to this brother drakeo this is sad," Jones wrote before calling on fellow rappers to protect themselves, "To all rappers I urge u to protect urself start to move tactical. Preservation of life is everything they do not value our lives anymore we are targeted."

He continued, "They know who we are cause of our fame but we don't know who they are because of our fame. I pray everyday I make it home to my family because it's tht serious out here for us. Feels like we lost a rapper every week this year."

"There was a time when we protected in th community we were treated as super hero's not no more," he lamented before concluding, "Stay safe & stay dangerous I pray I never have to make a decision. Say ur prayers n move sturdy."

One of the headliners at the event, Snoop Dogg, also offered condolences. "I'm saddened by the events that took place last night at the Once Upon a Time in LA festival," he posted on social media. "My condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Drakeo the Ruler."

"I'm not with anything negative and as one of many performers, I was there to spread positive vibes only to my city of L.A.," he further explained.

He added, "Last night I was in my dressing room when I was informed about the incident and chose to immediately leave the festival grounds. My prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy. Please take care, love one another and stay safe ya'll. I'M PRAYING FOR PEACE IN HIP HOP."

Drake was appalled by the incident as well, "Nah man, this s**t isn't right. For real, wtf are we doing. Always picked my spirit up your energy." He ended with prayers for the fallen rapper, "RIP Drakeo."

Tory Lanez was equally shocked, "Damn not my n*gga @drakeotheruler … RIP man WTF … Cuz [used] to always pull up on me just to shoot the shits and vibe … Solid individual … [Used] to make me happy when I seen [you] on everything!!!"

Saweetie tweeted, "Man Drakeo was always hella cool & respectful [sad face] Prayers up for his family RIP The Ruler."
