The Murray Goldberg depicter has lost his role as the family patriarch on the ABC sitcom after brushing off his on-set misconducts as silly jokes following new complaints.

AceShowbiz - Jeff Garlin was finally fired from "The Goldbergs". The actor, who played the family patriarch, was let go from the show following multiple on-set misbehavior accusations.
According to Deadline, a mutual agreement was reached that Garlin would not be returning to the ABC sitcom. His exit was effective immediately.
Sources claimed the cast and crew were thrilled when bosses dropped by the set and addressed "the elephant in the room" regarding Garlin while congratulating them on the show's 200th episode.
"It feels a little surreal that he will never be here again but the mood on the set is ecstatic," an eyewitness said. "In fact several people cheered when the execs said that Jeff would not be returning."
Jeff Garlin has long been accused of misconducts at workplace. Despite numerous complaints, he didn't see anything wrong with his behaviors.
"I was saying some really stupid, silly things that I can't believe that anyone would find offensive, but to each his own," he said back in 2019 when the allegations first surfaced. "Every time I stand up (on the set) I go, 'Oh, my (female genitalia).' Which is silly and stupid, I clearly don't have (female genitalia)."
Apparently he didn't take the complaints seriously because he was so confident no one dared to fire him. "They said, 'What if we fire you?' and I said, 'I'd love to have it announced Jeff Garlin got fired for saying (that),' " he opened up.
Garlin's misbehaviors were under scrutiny again recently following new complaints.
He was accused of calling female crew members offensive nicknames. When he heard a female camera assistant complained about his penchant for using the word "vagina" on set, he responded by mockingly saying the vulgar word in her face over and over again.
In another occasion, Garlin yelled at another female worker. A source revealed, "He screamed at her, 'Why are you always in my way? Get the f*ck out of my way' as she was walking down the ramp on the set after they had done blocking for a scene. She was confused and looked around." He even told the woman's husband, "Tell your wife to get the f*ck out of my way."
Again, he couldn't see why everyone was offended and brushed off his misconducts as silly jokes. He allegedly even mocked the guidelines given by HR department.
Unfortunately for him, he was not so lucky this time.
