The 'On the Floor' songstress hires armed security outside her property, where she lives with her twins Max and Emme, as she takes extra precautions for her family's safety amid rising crime in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez wants a double protection for her $28 million Bel-Air mansion amid rising home invasions in ritzy Los Angeles neighborhoods. The "On the Floor" hitmaker apparently hired armed security around her lavish property.

In photos obtained by Radar on Wednesday, December 8, armed guards were stationed outside the 52-year-old star's mansion. A private security SUV also could be seen at the edge of "The Boy Next Door" actress' closed gate.

J.Lo reportedly lives at the property with her 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme. On several occasions, her boyfriend Ben Affleck also visits her mansion. The "Hustlers" actress took extra precautions for her family's safety after her Bel-Air neighborhoods have been the target of various violent crimes lately.

Aside from J.Lo, Meagan Good admitted to feeling "more comfortable" if she owns a gun. When making an appearance on Charlamagne Tha God's show "Tha God's Honest Truth", the 40-year-old actress said, "You know, what's crazy is [that] for a long time, I felt like I didn't [need a gun]. But now, with everything that's going on, I would feel more comfortable with a gun."

"The reason before my thought was like if something did happen to me, would I have the time to pull out a gun to defend myself?" Meagan continued. "The Intruder" star added that she will defend herself if she has time to grab the weapon when someone breaks into her house. She then pointed out, "I don't want to kill anybody or hurt anybody, but I will defend myself."

J.Lo and Meagan's concern over their safety rose after music executive Clarence Avant's wife Jacqueline Avant was murdered at their home, which is just minutes away from J.Lo's property. Jacqueline was shot and killed during a home invasion around 2:30 A.M. on December 1.

Police identified 29-year-old Ariel Maynor as the sole suspect in Jacqueline's shooting death. The Beverly Hills Police Department stated that Aariel was armed with an AR-15 when he entered their residence and shot Jacqueline while she was awake.

Aariel also attempted to shoot at a security guard but he missed. The suspect has since been charged with murder, attempted murder for shooting at the guard and felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of residential burglary.

In late October, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley's house in Encino was also invaded by three men. The reality TV star reportedly was held at gunpoint that left her "traumatized."

"[The burglars] were surprised to see me at home… When they did, they pushed me to the ground. They said, 'Who else is in the home?' " Dorit recalled the terrifying moment. Dorit's children, Jagger and Phoenix, were asleep in bed at the time of the robbery, while her husband was in London.

"There was someone else who said, 'Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,' and all I could think of [was], 'I have to save those babies,' " Dorit continued. "I begged them, I begged for my life, and begged for their life." Dorit went on to say, "I said, 'I don't care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I'm a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don't hurt me.' "
