The Oscar-winning artist offers tribute to her musician beau after accepting the Career Achievement Award at the 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema and Television.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry couldn't be more grateful for Van Hunt's support for her. When honoring her boyfriend at the 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television, the "Bruised" actress called the musician "love of my life."
The 55-year-old, who won the Career Achievement Award at the Monday, December 6 in-person ceremony, gave a shout-out to her beau during her acceptance speech. "You know I finally found love this year everybody. Even though you all have been on this painful journey with me," she said.
"You watched me fail and fail and fail," the Oscar winner added. "And besides directing my first movie, I also found the love of my life and I know it's true and this is how I know it's true."
"Because you fail so many you know what wrong looks like. Because I failed so many times I now know what [love] really looks like," Halle continued. "And so my partner is here tonight, Van, and you have supported me."
Halle confirmed her relationship with Van back in September 2020. Making use of her Instagram account, she put out a photo of herself wearing a black T-shirt with her boyfriend's name written on it. In the accompaniment of the post, she simply wrote, "Now ya know..."
Before being an item with the crooner, the "Monster's Ball" star has been married three times. She wed baseball star David Justice from 1992 to 1997 and Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005. After dating model Gabriel Aubry, she wed French actor Olivier Martinez in 2013. The marriage, however, also ended in divorce.
Romance aside, this week might be such a memorable moment for Halle. Aside from winning the Career Achievement Award 2021, the "Things We Lost in the Fire" actress was honored with the People's Icon Award of 2021 in this year's People's Choice Awards for her contributions in movies and television.
