The new report arrives after author Christoper Andersen claimed in his new book that the Prince of Wales once voiced concerned about the skin color of Harry and Meghan's then-unborn biracial baby Archie.

AceShowbiz - It has been reported that Prince Charles and Prince Harry are back on speaking terms again. The father and son duo, who have not seen each other for almost eight months, are said to be open for communications though it doesn't really improve their relationship.

A royal insider claims to Page Six that the Prince of Wales "was hugely hurt when Harry and [Meghan Markle] just dumped it on the family they were giving up their roles and moving abroad." The source was referring to Harry and his wife's decision to step down their roles as a senior royal family members and move to the U.S.

"I don't think [Harry and Charles] talked for a good while, but now the channels of communication are open," the insider adds. However, the source admits, "I don't think it's all roses. It's not like they are sitting down for a heart-to-heart on the phone once a week."

The new report arrived after author Christoper Andersen claimed in his new book "Brothers and Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan" that Prince Charles once voiced concerned about the skin color of Harry and Meghan's then-unborn biracial baby Archie. According to the book, the Duke of Cornwall asked his wife Camilla, "What do you think their children's complexion might be?" The author, however, didn't say in his book that Charles is the unnamed "senior royal" whom the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were referring to in their sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.

In response to the claims, the Palace quickly denied the allegations as a spokesperson for Charles called the account "fiction." Meanwhile, another source of Harry and Meghan said, "I think people, on both sides of the Atlantic, in the family are united in agreeing they don't want to give this book any more oxygen."
