The 'Price Tag' hitmaker says, 'This year has been hands down the hardest year I've ever had to get through,' as she talks about her devastating pregnancy loss.

AceShowbiz - Jessie J poured out her heart for fans at a gig in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (24Nov21), hours after revealing she had suffered a miscarriage the day before.

The "Domino" singer gave an emotional, two-hour performance at The Hotel Cafe after sharing she had been told her secret baby did not have a heartbeat as she went for a third scan.

"I decided to have a baby by myself and by a miracle it worked for a while and yesterday it was f**king s**t," she told the audience during an emotional moment. "This year has been hands down the hardest year I've ever had to get through... I lost my baby and I know I'm going to be OK."

Before the show, she assured fans she would be performing as scheduled in an Instagram post, writing, "What I do know is that I want to sing tonight. Not because I'm avoiding the grief or the process, but because I know singing tonight will help me..."

"I want to be honest and true and not hide what I'm feeling. I deserve that. I want to be as myself as I can be in this moment. Not just for the audience but for myself and my little baby that did its best."

Jessie J received outpouring love and support from fans and friends alike following the sad news.

"I'm so sorry pumpkin. That's not an easy process but with God, you will get through it," Tamar Braxton wrote. Jordin Sparks also left a similar message, "My heart is with you, Jessie."
