The 'Full House' alum reportedly hopes to 'be allowed to move on' from her and husband's past mistake, in which they paid $500,000 to help their daughters secure places at the University of Southern California.

AceShowbiz - Lori Loughlin apparently is trying to make amends. More than a year after she was involved in a college admissions scandal, the former star of "Fuller House" reportedly paid tuition fees of two college students.

Revealing the news was Us Weekly. A source told the publication that the 57-year-old disgraced actress "privately arranged to put two students through four years of college" and has paid their tuition and the expenses which totaled more than $500,000.

A source also reported that Lori "has served her time in jail and completed her probation, community service and paid all of her court fines." Despite finishing her community service, she reportedly "continues to work with Project Angel Food," an organization which "prepares and delivers healthy meals to feed people impacted by serious illness, bringing comfort and hope every day."

Lori is now looking forward to putting "the past behind her" and hopes that she "be allowed to move on." The insider additionally claimed that the actress feels like there is "this stigma attached to her by people who don't want her to have any success."

Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli previously pleaded guilty to forking out $500,000 to help their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli secure places at the University of Southern California. She was then sentenced to two months in jail, a $150,000 fine and 150 hours of community service. Her spouse, on the other hand, received five months in jail, a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.

Lori was released from jail in late December 2020. As for the fashion designer, he became a free man in early April this year. He has also satisfied his fine and it was reported that he is "actively working on completing his community service requirement."
