AceShowbiz - Lori Loughlin has done her first major interview since her college admissions scandal. When reflecting on her life now, the "Full House" alum also gave advice about how to deal with "hardship in life."

"I'm kind and I'm strong," the 59-year-old told First For Women for an April 26 feature. "And open—open to life, open to experiences. And I'm grateful. So I'd say I'm strong, grateful, open and kind."

Lori went on to note, "As an actress, I hear 'no' a lot, so I just have to be myself and persevere and try not to let in negativity." She continued, "My advice is to just keep moving forward."

"Everyone has good times and bad times. That's life," the mom of two further elaborated. "I think you just have to pick yourself up. Nobody said life was going to be a breeze. There's beauty in life, but there's also hardship in life."

Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli previously pleaded guilty to forking out $500,000 to help their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli secure places at the University of Southern California. She was then sentenced to two months in jail, a $150,000 fine and 150 hours of community service. Her spouse, on the other hand, received five months in jail, a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.

Lori was released from jail in late December 2020. As for the fashion designer, he became a free man in early April this year. He has also satisfied his fine and it was reported that he is "actively working on completing his community service requirement."
