Sharing a joint statement on their respective Instagram accounts, the 'Bachelorette' alums kindly ask fans to respect their privacy as they 'navigate this transition.'

AceShowbiz - Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes have gone their separate ways. Having been engaged for less than three months, "The Bachelorette" alums took to their respective social media accounts to confirm their breakup.

On Monday, October 25, the 30-year-old beauty and her then-fiance shared pictures of the two on their own Instagram page. Alongside the snap, they announced, "It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways."

"We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners," the exes further noted. "And it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently."

Katie and Blake went on to ask fans "for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition." They concluded their message, "Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision."

The news came as a surprise since Katie shut down split rumors surrounding her and Blake more than a week earlier. Taking to Twitter, she let out a screenshot of a fan commenting on Instagram, "You and Blake are not liking each other's posts. Is all OK?"

To the question, the bank marketing manager explained, "Imagine your fiance has been on his stories for weeks in Kenya working his a** off and yet this is what some people notice." She additionally sent out a laughing face emoji. Though so, another fan insisted that "liking posts = love." In response to the statement, the TV personality replied, "I guess that's love in 2021."

Katie and Blake got engaged during the season 17 finale of "The Bachelorette". In an interview back in August, Blake shared that they will have a long-distance relationship because his job required a lot of travel.

"We need to see each other's lifestyles and our passions, our interests, and then try to see where our anchor spot will be, where all those things can kind of align and make sense for both of us," Blake elaborated. "We're going to jump around for a bit and experience what works best for us."
