AceShowbiz - 21 Savage received a special gift on his 29th birthday. After the "Bank Account" rapper gave fans a look at his NSFW birthday cake on social media, some of his online devotees believed that the cake was from Latto (previously known as Mulatto).
On Friday, October 22, the emcee took to his Instagram Story to post a video that showed a room decorated with red balloons, red roses and lit candles that spelled out "21." He then gave a closer look at a heart-shaped cake on the center of a table with a note that read, "Lemme suck that d**k."
21 has yet to unveil who sent him the custom cake. His fans, however, assumed that it's from Latto. "OKAY BIG LATTTOO," one person wrote. "Not being funny but that's something Latto would say," another opined.
A third individual echoed the sentiment, "Something Latto would say." A different user penned, "It's giving Latto energy." Someone else, meanwhile, noted, "Lmfaooo big latto fasho."
The dating speculations between 21 and Latto first emerged in December 2020. At that time, the hip-hop stars let out some pictures from their vacation in Puerto Rico. Although they don't post each other's pictures on their respective Instagram pages, fans believed that they were on a trip together.
The "Queen of Da Souf" artist, however, was quick to shut down the romance rumors. When speaking to Wild 94.1 in January this year, she insisted that her relationship with the London-born rapper was strictly professional.
"No," Latto said when asked whether she's dating 21. "It's videos on YouTube of me performing with him at [Atlanta nightclub] Palace. It be real respect."
Romance aside, 21 took the opportunity to reflect on his past shooting incident as he celebrated his latest milestone. "this what I did for my 21st birthday it's crazy how far I've come @bitchimjohnnyb_21gang I miss you so much dog I dam near hate this day but this forever your day love you 4L my brother!!" he wrote alongside a throwback photo of himself in hospital.
