The Bravo personality also talks about newcomer Mia Thornton who brings new energy on the show, noting that the entrepreneur has 'got a very interesting story to share' in the new season.

AceShowbiz - Season 6 of "The Real Housewives of Potomac" apparently sees the ladies heading to a better direction. According to cast member Robyn Dixon, the new season would be "totally different" than the previous one, which saw Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard having a physical fight.

Speaking with Page Six, Robyn said that the season was "actually like a breath of fresh air." She went on to say, "I'm excited to just really move forward from the previous season."

Reflecting on season 5, the Bravo personality added, "[Last] season got kind of heavy and toxic, and I think I can speak for most of the group to say, like, we just wanted to move forward and put that behind us. So we, for the most part, not right away, but we come in with kind of open minds and just try to move forward."

Although she noted that getting ready to film again "wasn't easy" for her due to previous tension between the ladies, Robyn shared, "We didn't want to repeat the past, and so, that was a good thing to know that, like, 'OK, we don't want to be hung up on the previous season or the reunion." She continued, "So even though it kind of left a bad taste in our mouths, we still were open to just creating something new."

In the interview, Robyn also talked about newcomer Mia Thornton who brings new energy on the show. "Mia is so interesting," she said of the entrepreneur. "She's got a very interesting story to share. I'm excited. I learned a lot about her while we were filming, but I'm also excited to see what I didn't see, like her scenes with her family and her just learning more about her life."

"But she also didn't hesitate to speak her mind. She doesn't hold her tongue. … She gets in the mix pretty quickly. So, I think the fans will be entertained by Mia and will be interested and intrigued by her story," Robyn went on to divulge.

While Robyn and Mia first met while filming for "RHOP", they have mutual friend in co-star Karen Huger. "Karen had never introduced her to us," Robyn explained. "It is pretty cool when you just meet someone and you still have a mutual friend so you at least know … you can feel safe around the person because at least they know someone that you know."

"RHOP" season 6 airs on Sundays at 8 P.M. on Bravo.
