The 31-year-old songstress teams up with Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon for their new track 'Renegade', which will be featured in the group's upcoming album 'How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?'.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has teamed up with her "Folklore" and "Evermore" collaborators for a new song. The 31-year-old singer joined forces with Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon from Big Red Machine for their new track "Renegade", which was released on July 1 alongside the music video of the song.

In the aesthetic visuals, Taylor can be seen singing, "Are you really gonna talk about timin' in times like these? And let all your damage, damage me/ And carry your baggage up my street/ And make me your future history." The "Cardigan" singer continues to sing, "You come a long way, open the blinds/ Let me see your face/ You wouldn't be the first renegade, to need somebody/ To need somebody, to need somebody, to need somebody."

Following the release, Taylor took to her Twitter account to reflect on her collaboration wih the indie rock band. "When @Aaron_Dessner came into my life, I was ushered into his world of free-flowing creativity where you don't overthink, you just make music," the songstress said. "A song we wrote for his project @BRMadjv (which also features Justin Vernon) is out! It's called Renegade."

She went on to say, "His generosity of spirit and humility bleeds into every part of his life, and that's why so many artists have jumped at the chance to be a part of his collaborative project, Big Red Machine. Thanks Aaron for asking me to show up at your party."

As for Aaron, he claimed "Regenade" culminated as they worked on Taylor's successful folk quarantine albums last year. "Taylor and I sometimes talked about experimenting and writing songs together some day for @bigredmachineadjv," the musician and member of rock band The National wrote on Instagram.

He went on to say, "Making music with your friends just to make it-that's how Big Red Machine started and has grown-and that's how Renegade came about too. This song was something we wrote after we finished evermore and it dawned on us that this was a BRM song."

Impressed with the "Blank Space" singer's writing skills, Aaron shared, "Taylor's words hit me so hard when I heard her first voice memo and still do, every time. Justin lifted the song further into the heavens, and my brother @brycedessner's strings and drummer @jasontreuting add so much."

He continued, "The feeling and sound of this song feel very much at the heart of 'How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?' I'm so grateful to Taylor for continuing to share her incredible talent with me and that we are still finding excuses to make music together."

"How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?" is set to out on August 27.
