The 'Gold Digger' hitmaker accuses MyChannel of intentionally publicly filing information about his depo in an 'attempt to gain some perceived advantage in the case.'

AceShowbiz - Kanye West isn't having it that information regarding his recent court-ordered deposition leaked to the public. The rapper has fired back after MyChannel demanded the court award them sanctions for his bizarre antics during the virtual deposition.

The "Follow God" spitter is now asking the court to deny their request and award him $14,882 in sanctions from the company MyChannel, instead, according to court documents obtained by Radar. He claims that the company violated the court order by publicly filing information about his depo, which he claims was under seal by the court.

The Atlanta-born star accuses them of violating the court order in an "attempt to gain some perceived advantage in the case," while Kanye's lawyers state that they already admitted the first meeting wasn't productive and agreed to schedule another meeting later this month.

His lawyer says in the court docs, "Counsel for Mr. West concedes that the deposition was atypical, which is why it offered to reimburse Plaintiff for costs incurred on June 3. Defendants further agree that the time spent on the record at the June 3 deposition will not count against the 7-hour limit for Mr. West's future deposition."

Earlier this month, information leaked about Kanye's alleged bizarre behavior during the virtual deposition with MyChannel. In court filings under seal which was obtained by AllHipHop, MyChannel's lawyer Michael Popok said Ye called him, who is white, "boy" at least 12 times during the heated deposition that lasted only about 10 minutes.

He allegedly kept bragging about himself, referring to his own "mental genius-ness" while asking the lawyer if he was "f**king stupid" and refusing to answer any questions. Michael claimed at one point Kanye told him that he was lucky to be deposing the "richest black man in America and a black Trump supporter and that he couldn't be bothered with the deposition because he had lives (and diets) to change."

Kanye later covered his face with a "full-face hood and head covering adorned with Jesus Christ's image" on it that "muffled his voice." He reportedly refused to remove the Jesus Christ mask, claiming the legal team did not have the right to see his face.

Michael said Kanye was even bragging about how good he was doing obstructing the deposition, and his lawyers refused to do anything about his behavior. One of his lawyers allegedly played down his client's antics as "some crazy s**t."

MyChannel was asking the court to sanction Kanye for $63,000 for his actions and filed an emergency motion to haul the Atlanta native into court for a face-to-face deposition in July.

MyChannel is suing Kanye for allegedly violating a nondisclosure agreement and stealing their technology. The company says they started working with the Yeezy designer in 2018 to create a technology that uses artificial intelligence to "incorporate e-commerce in video content," but he decided to steal their idea for his Sunday Service platform and denied them of all profits on the deal.
