The 'Rockstar' hitmaker was previously detained by cops after two people were shot in an altercation that allegedly involved his entourage near Ocean Drive.

AceShowbiz - DaBaby may now breathe a little easier. After being detained by Miami Beach Police Department for questioning in a shooting incident, the "Rockstar" hitmaker has reportedly been released without any charges.

The 29-year-old, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was released from police custody on Tuesday afternoon, June 1. Confirming the news was his attorney Drew Findling who told TMZ, "Mr. Kirk has been released by the police. No criminal charges have been filed against him."

DaBaby was said to be "one of the many individuals" being held and quizzed following the shooting that took place near the corner of South Beach's Ocean Drive and First street, near Prime 112 Steakhouse just after 11:30 P.M. on Monday. The incident allegedly occurred during an altercation that reportedly involved his entourage.

"DaBaby and his crew had an issue with people right next to them in the car," a source told Page Six. "DaBaby and his crew were traveling in around six SUVs, and either a car pulled up on them and started something or their doors hit each other and they got in a fight. Rumor has it that DaBaby and 10 to 12 members of his entourage have been detained by police."

Offering more details about the shooting was Fox-7 News. An eyewitness told the outlet, "I probably heard like 50 [gunshots] maybe... It was wild. Everybody started shooting."

The incident left two people suffering gunshot wounds. One person was shot in the shoulder while the other in the leg. While one victim has been treated and released from Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, another one remains in the hospital.

Police have yet to unveil the identities of the suspects and the victims. They stated, "Arrest details and subject information will be shared once reports are completed. We are incredibly proud of our officers, detectives, and crime scene investigators for their efforts in this complex investigation."
