Celebrating the arrival of her child with Kendall Taylor, the season 3 winner of 'American Idol' admits that she chose elephant since it represents 'patience, strength, power and remembrance.'

AceShowbiz - Fantasia Barrino is officially a third-time mother. When announcing the birth of her baby girl, the season 3 winner of "American Idol" shared with her fans and followers via her social media account a stunning animal-themed maternity photo.
Making use of Instagram on Sunday, May 23, the 36-year-old posted an image of herself wearing an animal print dress while standing in front of an elephant. Her post came with a caption that read, "The Elephant is the animal I chose to surround @keziahlondontaylor with because it represents patience, strength, power and remembrance. Just a few of the qualities that her presence has brought into our lives and this world."
"We were patient waiting on you to enter this world and we will always remember the strength that it took for me and @salute1st to create something as powerful as your life itself," the wife of Kendall Taylor stated. She added, "Happy Birthday to our little Angel 5-23-21 and may God keep and cover you for the rest of your days!"
Joining Fantasia in announcing the arrival of Keziah was her husband Kendall. He turned to Instagram to share a different maternity photo. Along with it, he declared, "Today I experienced something that rewrote my personal definition of a Black Woman. To observe my Queen @tasiasword bring my little Angel @keziahlondontaylor into this world elevated my understanding and sense of pride, respect and admiration for black women."
"'Yahweh, please empower me to lead and protect my wife and children with the highest level of wisdom, power and discipline that I have to capacity to receive!' " Kendall futher noted in his post. He additionally exclaimed, "Happy Birthday to my little Kezzy Bear! #Salute1st."
Fantasia went public with her pregnancy in November 2020. In a December episode of "The Tamron Hall Show", she spilled that she struggled to conceive for three years. "At first we thought we were going to have to do different things like everybody was suggesting IVF because it wasn't happening…," she recalled. "This is a three-year journey we've been on."
In April 2021, Fantasia was taken to the hospital after experiencing contractions. At the time, she took to Instagram Story to offer an update on her condition. "Good morning. We've been in the hospital all day. We have to stay in the hospital for a while," she shared. "My baby girl thinks she's missing something out here, but she's got to stay in here a little longer."
