The 'We R Who We R' singer has joined Kendall Jenner, Whoopi Goldberg and a string of other celebrities taking part in footwear designer Kenneth Cole's Mental Health Coalition.

AceShowbiz - Singer Kesha (Ke$ha) has teamed up with Kenneth Cole on a new mental health initiative launched by the footwear designer.

The shoe mogul debuted his Mental Health Coalition on Friday (May 15) and the "We R Who We R" hitmaker, who has been open about her eating disorder struggles in the past, has joined the project to encourage others with psychological issues to speak up and seek help.

"There is no shame in talking about your mental health struggles, so reach out and let people know how you are really feeling," she tells People. "At least for me, it has been incredibly helpful."

Kesha is among a string of celebrities taking part in Kenneth Cole's Mental Health Coalition, including Whoopi Goldberg, Michael Strahan, Stanley Tucci, Oliver Platt, Cheyenne Jackson, Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Chambers and Mayim Bialik.

Kendall Jenner also lent a hand by helping to kick off the initiative alongside the footwear mogul during an appearance on "Good Morning America", where they debuted the HowAreYouReally.org website, inviting people to share how they have overcome mental health challenges on the platform. The model has invited her A-list friends on Instagram to join her in answering the question, "How are you really?" as part of the project.

Dozens of other organisations are partnering with the Mental Health Coalition, including Child Mind Institute, The Trevor Project, Crisis Text Line, Mental Health America, The Jed Foundation and more.
