As he commemorates his six-year relationship with his actress wife, the Good Charlotte lead guitarist reminds himself 'not to be the foolish person who takes it for granted.'

AceShowbiz - Benji Madden is being extra sweet to his wife Cameron Diaz on Mother's Day. Four months after welcoming a baby girl together, the lead guitarist of Good Charlotte pays tribute to the "Bad Teacher" actress, who is celebrating the holiday for the first time as a new mom, praising her for being "a force of nature."

"Best Wishes for All the Mother's, we're all lucky to have you," the identical twin brother of Joel Madden kicked off his Instagram dedication he posted on Sunday, May 10. "It's special day for us this year, Forever grateful to my wife for making me a Father, and taking such good care of us everyday. Best Mom and Wife and Friend."

"W[h]ether waking up extra early to take care of everyone (3 humans and a dozen animals) or doing all the research and reading to make sure we try our best to be good parents for our daughter, she's a force of nature and I'm very grateful," he continued. "6 years together just get more meaningful and true love each day. What a blessing."

The 41-year-old rocker then shared some of his wisdom. "For me, I think wise to remind ourselves everyday, when we have a rare special person like this in our life, not to be the foolish person who takes it for granted," he noted. "Fact is, No matter what happens at work, or what the world thinks/says, Cherish the Mothers and you can't lose. Everything else you'll be able to figure out- Happy home is worth more than Gold."

Benji and Cameron welcomed their first child together in early January 2020, five years after they tied the knot at their Beverly Hills home. "We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden," they gushed in their joint statement. "She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family."

Months later, Cameron opened up about motherhood during an Instagram Live chat with friend and Who What Wear CEO, Katherine Power. "I love being a mother. It's the best, best, best part of my life," the 47-year-old gushed. "I'm so grateful and so happy and it's the best thing ever and I'm so lucky to do it with Benj and we're having the best time. I'm thrilled. I can't believe it."
