AceShowbiz - Summer Walker has broken her silence after a video of her boyfriend London on Da Track choked her surfaced online. Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 24, the "Girls Need Love" hitmaker stressed that her producer and longtime collaborator wasn't really hurting and that they were merely playing around.

She said on the photo-sharing platform, "London was playing y'all buggin, he would never try to really hurt me." Alongside the post, Summer added a black heart and a face-palmed emoticons to show how done she was with Internet users.

However, her statement was not enough to convince people London wasn't hurting her. "Tina said the same thing about ike," one reminded Summer. "that’s what Tina Turner thought too," another said.

"If he was playin u wouldn't have to address it," one other pointed out, and some people agreed with the user's statement. "Spoken like a true survivor of domestic violence..," one more person weighed in, while someone else commented, "But she was hurting, if it was intentional or not. You said 'it hurts' and he didn't let go right away." There was also one who said, "Low key she sound like a battered woman from a Tyler Perry Movie."

Over the weekend, Summer and London made headlines with a video of the latter putting her in a chokehold as the "Over It" singer kept complaining that she felt hurt. Despite her complaints, London didn't let go and even pushed her with his hand still wrapped on her neck. This prompted Summer to scream in pain.
