AceShowbiz - Netflix's "Love Is Blind" has set tongues wagging lately as it features a group of singles to know each other by talking through the walls of separate rooms as they won't be physically meeting each other until they've gotten engaged and then married. Among the contestants, Carlton Morton grabbed people's attention after he was hugely criticized for coming out as bisexual to Diamond Jack prior to their engagement.
The former couple managed to clear things out and forgive each other in the reunion special, but it seemed like Carlton was not entirely feeling better following the backlash. He raised people's eyebrows with his recent social media posts, which appeared to hint at suicide.
"I'm really done. Thanks for the press requests, bookings, etc. I am not doing any press/bookings as of today's radio interview. URBAN MEDIA has been the WORST to me. Black lives matter until it's an LGBT Black life," he wrote his Wednesday, March 4 post on Instagram. "Also, so called 'celebrity' friends on social media have every opportunity to defend my CHARACTER yet they don't! I've argued for tons of people. Y'all see ANY of those people speaking up for me? I'M DONE."
Writing in the caption, he added, "Thanks for the 3 of y'all who supported me in this. I feel alone and don't want any of this life anymore. I'm fighting ALONE. And it HURTS."
Prior to that, he also hinted of him feeling like he was hitting rock bottom. "Today is one of those days where I don't want to be here," Carlton began his concerning tweet on Tuesday. Claiming that he felt "extremely alone and unsupported," he went on saying that he had "cried for help since Feb. 13" but "no one cares."
Further sparking concern among fans and friends, he wrote on Instagram Stories, "Bye everyone (broken heart emoji)."
Following the posts, fellow "Love Is Blind" cast member Lauren Chamblin was among those who reached out to Carlton. Replying to his Twitter post, LC said, "Left you a voicemail and texted you earlier today. SO many people care, you just have to let them. Always here for you if you need anything."
