The one-half of Rae Sremmurd has teamed up with Giuseppe Zanotti to launch a collection of heeled boots for men that was released at Saks Fifth Avenue in Miami.

AceShowbiz - Swae Lee wants other men to know that it's perfectly all right for them to wear high heels. The rapper has recently teamed up with Giuseppe Zanotti to launch a collection of high heels for men, and despite the possibility of him becoming the butt of the Internet's joke, it looks like he has no regret over his decision.

Speaking to Footwear News, Lee was asked why he chose to support a design like heeled shoes for men which are something that male rappers don't usually wear. In response, the one-half of Rae Sremmurd said, "A lot of [rappers] are f***ing scared to wear s**t. They want to think the old ways and put a limit on that s**t. I'm not scared to be different."

He continued saying of the collection, "I was making something to go on someone's body, to complete their outfit, the shoe completes a look. It was up to me to make the most key part of the outfit, so it was way different. Now I'm helping people with their well-being. This is their image. That's important." He also admitted to feeling excited over the collaboration because it was a dream-come-true moment for him.

"Even growing up, we used to rap about Giuseppes. Everybody in the hood wanted them," Lee told the publication. "We couldn't afford it, so you were a real high-end dude if you wore Giuseppes. You were going to make a lot of noise and turn heads if you came through wearing them."

Lee announced his collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti last month through an Instagram post. The collection, which includes three different pairs of heeled boots, was launched during Super Bowl Weekend at Saks Fifth Avenue in Miami. The "Sunflower" rapper showed up during the launch, wearing a pair of bubblegum pink heeled boots.
